Job description
This work consists of research on corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys used in biomedical sector. Deposition on Mg-alloys of biopolymer coatings modified with nanoparticles and other compounds. The main goal is to develop a biocompatible coatings for the corrosion protection of magnesium alloys and understanding the corrosion mechanism at micro-scale. Spectroscopic studies of deposited coatings and corrosion solutions will be performed.
3 research exchanges are planned with some consortium partners (Italy, Sweden)
We are looking for a candidate with Master degree in the discipline in materials engineering, chemistry or equivalent. The candidate should be able to work in team in an international and multicultural environment. The academic exam should be not older than 4 years at the time of employment.

The training network is funded by the MSCA of the European commission, which has defined the following eligibility criteria:
1) Academic exam not older than 4 years at the time of employment
2) You have not resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies) in Poland for more than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to the recruitment
The mcBEEs consortium has the aim to reach a good gender balance.
Collective agreement is applicable.

“Advanced integrative solutions to Corrosion problems beyond micro-scale: towards long-term durability of miniaturized Biomedical, Electronic and Energy systems”
Contract for 36 months.
Salary and family allowance will be paid on the terms specified in the project contract
