Opis stanowiska

DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments): The successful candidate should be able to plan independent research, cooperate with other scientific units and contribute to our existing key research themes (geomorphology and geology of the coastal zone of a non-tidal sea). He/she will be expected to make a full contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and to undertake supervision of students of all levels.

Expectations:
1) doctor degree in Earth Sciences,
2) specialization (documented by publications) in geomorphology and geology of the coastal zone of a non-tidal sea, including a dune coast, a nearshore seafloor, port basins and river mouths,
3) skills in using GIS and remote sensing data (seismoacoustic profiles, sonar images, bathymetric data, airborne laser scanning data) in coastal research, documented by publications,
4) active participation in the scientific life documented by published papers (articles published in the impact factor journals) and conference presentations,
5) ability to cooperation with other scientific and commercial units,
6) master proficiency in Polish (speaking and writing),
7) the ability to use the English language, the employed person will be obliged to prepare and to teaching in foreign language.
