The competition for the post: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR The Rector – Commandant of the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces announces a competition for the post of an assistant professor at the Faculty of Security Studies. Job status: full-time – contract of employment Place of work: The General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces (MULF), ul. Piotra Czajkowskiego 109, Wrocław. Main tasks: • preparing and conducting didactic classes in accordance with accepted standards, curricula, study plan and timetable, as part of the planned teaching load; • participating in various forms of education, preparing and implementing credits as well as providing office hours; • participating in preparing and conducting diploma examinations; • conducting diploma theses; • preparing and keeping didactic and methodological documents; • developing planning and analytical materials as well as reports on conducted research and teaching activities; • analyzing curricula in the scope of own course subjects and introducing some changes, taking into account current needs and audit findings; • participating in the commissions and in the recruitment process at the University; • using the IT system supporting the University management process in the area of planning, recording and accounting for the didactic process as well as the document workflow within own competence; • participating in scientific and organizational projects implemented by MULF. Necessary requirements: • a doctoral degree in the humanities, in the discipline of history; • scientific and journalistic achievements in the field of military history and / or the history of the Polish Army; • professional experience and competence in the field of conducting classes with university students; • care for own scientific and journalistic development; • a declaration of full-time employment at MULF as the main place of work; • computer skills (MS Office). Additional competences: • experience in organizing undertakings related to the dissemination of knowledge on the history of the military, including the history of the Polish Army; • creativity and commitment to teaching; • ability to work in a team. Deadline for submitting documents: till 31.12.2019, 10.00 am. Place for submitting documents: The Office of the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces, ul. Piotra Czajkowskiego 109, 51-147 Wrocław. Documents: CV, a motivational letter, copies of documents confirming education, seniority, completed courses and trainings as well as other documents confirming qualifications, scientific and didactic experience, a full-time job declaration at MULF as the main place of work (in case of foreign candidates if the documents are not issued in Polish, it is necessary to submit copies of documents together with a sworn translation; if the academic degree was obtained at a foreign university, a copy of the document confirming the recognition of the academic degree or a statement about the basis for recognizing the title on the basis of the agreement on the recognition of education equivalence in Poland should be submitted), a statement on submission to the examination procedure (applies to candidates who are not Polish citizens). The above documents should be delivered to MULF in a sealed envelope with the name of the post. Please add the following clause: “I have read the information clause, including the information about the purpose and methods of processing my personal data and my rights”.
