DESCRIPTION
Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow announces an open competition for the position of assistant professor at the Department of General Sociology and Social Anthropology.
Requirements for Candidates
doctoral degree in the discipline of sociology,
documented scientific activity, especially in the field of relations between culture, society, and technology, processes of social change, cultural systems of meanings, material culture, and technology,
documented research achievements, including participation in national and foreign science and research projects, especially as a researcher under projects financed by NCN or NCBIR or research agencies with a similar status,
documented organisational achievements (in the field of research cooperation or work in the editorial office of scientific journals, the organisation of conferences or workshops),
experience in academic didactics in the field of sociology or social informatics (minimum 2 years), corresponding to the teaching and research profile of WH AGH (syllabus available on the website wh.agh.edu.pl),
confirmed by the Foreign Language Center of the AGH University of Science and Technology, a certificate of English at least level B2
7. active participation in conferences and symposia

Information on scientific, didactic and organisational achievements, including the requirements set out above (ie scientific, research and organisational achievements),
A declaration that AGH University of Science and Technology will be the basic place of work of the Candidate or Candidate within the meaning of the Act of 27 June 2005, Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws No. 164, item 1365, as amended).
The research and scientific plans prepared by the Candidate (for the next 3-5 years) regarding the potential research topic taken at KSOiAS to complement the strategic assumptions of the Department (available on the website of the Department, at wh.agh.edu.pl, tab "Materials"), from 1-3 pages of text;
