DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
It is expected from a candidate to have:
DSc (habilitation) in materials science;
teaching experience in materials science and metallurgy, including lectures and seminars on metallic biomaterials, non-ferrous metallurgy, fundamentals of metallurgical processes, introduction to materials science, also in English,
research experience in manufacturing of materials by electrophoretic deposition, characterization of microstructure and properties of engineering materials, in particular investigation of coatings on metallic materials,
scientific achievements in materials science, including publications in journals with high impact factor (IF),
experience in leading research projects and participation as investigator in the projects within the framework of national and international collaboration,
supervision of at least two finished PhD thesis or a PhD student with a commenced registration and conferment procedure for a doctoral degree,
adhere to ethical standards (according to: www.agh.edu.pl – dokumenty – inne – kodeks etyczny AGH”).
The research and teaching achievements of the candidate have to be evaluated by one reviewer with a scientific title (professor), not employed in AGH University of Science and Technology and justified by an appropriate Faculty Council.
